her life story :
Graduated from Işık Lisesi.
Took artistic formation;first in Geneva then in Paris ...After beeing returned in Turkey,she worked in several fashion company as fashion designer for a while...
Her first exhibion took place in 1985 titled "Woman&Bodrum"...And 12 personal exhibitions followed until now...
Thanks to participation to a competition on the miniature art,she found a name for her paintings;"post-modern miniatures!..."
And:
Beeing completely aware of intruducing phantesies in life make it more enchanting and gorgeous,she doesn't hasitate to use them in her paintings...
...what is "miniature art"?...what is "post-modernism"?...why I named my paintings so?...
If I would like to explain the "miniature art "in a way according our decade and century,I can assume its similarity by the "illustartion art" of our time...
...so was the solution for adorning some story books of these days... I must point on muslim religion forbids on artistic paintings , all born-artists were creating thier ways in drawing(caligraphiing) these "miniatures"at least for the story books...And these books were mostly about the life entertainments of the ottoman souverains...
with the technologics eases of days we have now photographic apparels...
...what is "post-modernism"?...
... shortly explained:"post-modernism"is born in 1970 ...First in architectural area,after in plastic art...
It might be explained as a freedom in personal impressions and behaviours against modernism...
why I named my paintings so?...
... first I tried to design classical miniatures paintings...but my my pencil never accepted to design what was already done...these paintings were similar to the miniature art in the domain of expression but not in the technicdomain!...so was born my paintings..
they were "modern"...but not in a real way....they had something not in commun with the classical miniatures...They had something against what is used to be...
...so adding "post" would be very appopriate..
.All my works you see on this site are the consequenses of this phlosophie...and also they are named according to this philosophie !...
